DESCRIPTION:January 6-7: Allegheny County phone bank for Conor Lamb: We will be calling seniors across the district to make sure they know about the special election and to find out if they need absentee ballots (for snowbirds and shut-ins). There are three ways to participate: \nJanuary 6: Attend a phone bank training and session\, 1-4pm at Panera Bread\, 1500 Washington Road\, Mt. Lebanon. Learn how to use the virtual phone bank system – it’s super easy – then stay and make calls or go home to do them. Please bring a laptop or tablet and your cell phone. If you plan to make calls from Panera\, please also bring headphones. RSVP by Friday\, January 5. \nJanuary 6 or 7: Create your own hub: Invite a few of your friends to join you and we will provide all the instructions and the link to the VPB (virtual phone bank). Make calls on your own schedule any time this weekend (between the hours of 10am and 9pm). Please RSVP with the number of people who are attending\, so the campaign knows how big a list of voters to provide. Make sure anyone joining you brings a laptop or tablet and their cell phone. Headphones are helpful if more than one person will be calling in the same room. \nJanuary 6 or 7: Phone bank on your own: Make your calls on your own schedule any time this weekend (between the hours of 10am and 9pm).
