SUMMARY:37th Senatorial District Democratic Nomination Convention
DESCRIPTION:Now is the time to nominate a candidate to fill the 37th State Senate seat vacated by Guy Reschenthaler. All elected and appointed Upper St. Clair Democratic Committee members are eligible to vote. \nPursuant to the writ of election issued by Lt. Governor Stack\, a special election to fill the vacancy that occurred in state senatorial district 37 on January 1\, 2019 will be held on April 2\, 2019. In accordance with Rule IX\, section 2 of the bylaws of the Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee\, the Executive Committee of the State Party must convene to select a Democratic nominee for the 37th senatorial no later than January 31\, 2019. \nThe State Party Chair\, in conjunction with the chairs of Allegheny and Washington County Democratic Committees\, will convene a nominating convention of the eligible Democratic electors of the 37th senatorial district\, to be held at the Library Volunteer Fire Company at 6581 Library Road in South Park Township on Sunday\, January 27th at 11am.
